March 8 Full Moon

Here's what I've been working on this month:

This is my youngest son's birth sampler.  (He'll be 8 in May!)  I've finished the other siblings' samplers and need to finish this one before his birthday!

Here's my daughter Lauren and son Alex out with the Moon:

They are less than amused with me!

  1. I can tell they are thinking about what you can do with that camera, Mom!

I never did manage to do birth samplers for my kids. I take it you don't think it's too late?

  2. LOL, kid's just don't get it do they. My kids and grandkids are always trying to keep me from taking photos. Thank goodness I ignore them.

  3. I did this sampler for my friend's son who is turning 1 at the end of the month. I did the pink version for a friend's daughter who also turns 1 at the end of the month. I enjoyed working on them and hope that you do as well. Looks great so far!!!

  5. Thanks everyone! I started it last Jan while waiting for a DR. Appt at the Mayo Clinic. I think I was in the lobby for 2 hrs and was able to get a lot done! I have the girl version too (it's in another issue of the same cross stitch magazine that this one came from).

I was so excited to see such a large "orange-ish" moon when I was driving home Thurs night that I decided to "surprise the kids" with an evening drive. Bringing my camera was a dead giveaway as they knew by the direction that I was driving that we were going somewhere open to take a picture. My middle child (Sebastien) refused to get out of the car and thus no incriminating photos! haha :)
