So here's a picture of the ivy pattern that I will stitch around my quilt square.
And here is the quilt square. There are a few stitches done (I had started with different shades of green and decided to take them out and match the greens with the center piece. I left the red berries as I am not changing the reds. I haven't quite figured out how I will stitch the corners. I'm sure I will think of something as it comes together. :)

First Post
Wow. I'm finally blogging. This is my first post on my own blog. Woo hoo! So I signed up for the CrazyJanuary 2012 Challenge. I had to come up with 15 projects that I haven't started and commit to starting each one of them from Jan 1st thru Jan 15th. Finding 15 projects wasn't hard, nor was finding the floss for them. (I only need like 10 skeins of DMC floss for my projects.)
I have mostly Christmas projects that I have been wanting to do for a long time. This should be an interesting year as I thought I would be putting most of my Christmas projects away until Nov 2012. Now I should be able to finish them and have them ready to either hang on the tree or hang on the wall. So here's some of the highlights. This is one of the several cross stitch squares on my Christmas Quilt. I had stitched the poinsettia over ten years ago and over the course of several years, I finally found a way to showcase it. I decided to stitch a border this year as it seemed like a lot of wasted space around it. There are three more squares like this one, so those three will be the first of my CrazyJanuary 2012 projects. Here's what I've done so far:
